Indian Oil Academic Scholarships is a social contribution activity organized by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. 10+/ITI students as well as students pursuing professional courses like B.Tech, MBBS and MBA are benefitted out of this. Selection of suitable candidates is done on the marks obtained in qualifying exam and gross joint income of the candidate’s family.
Candidates having qualified 12th class or equivalent can seek admission to UG Engineering courses by qualifying Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). Selection of eligible candidate is done through a two level screening process, JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced). There will two papers for JEE (Main), Paper I and Paper II. Paper I can be attended either through online or offline mode where as Paper II can be attended through offline mode only. Exam centers are available in major cities like Gaya, Tirupati, Godhra, Srinagar, Hissar, Kozhikode, Rourkela, Shillong and Gorakhpur. Bhopal, Jaipur, Dehradun, Surat, Chennai, etc are some of the cities where online exam centers are allotted too.
Candidates must take up science subjects in 12th class to join for undergraduate studies in Biochemistry. Reputed institutes conduct written test to select candidates for undergraduate or post graduate level courses in Biochemistry. Some of the major institutes which offer courses in Biochemistry are All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Osmania University, Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Science, Delhi University, Sanjeevni Institute of Paramedical Courses etc.
Graduates can opt for MBA/PGDM course in AIMS. Admission for MBA/PGDM will require candidates to have a valid score either in CAT/MAT. Candidates will be selected for GD and P.I at the initial level.
