B.E/B.Tech degree holders and MBA graduates can find a well paid job in Ashok Leyland. Candidates with cut off marks above 60% (in qualifying degree) can participate in the recruitment process. Selection is done on the basis of written exam, GD, and interview. Written exam includes both technical as well as general aptitude based questions.
Graduates with in the age group of 21-37 years can apply for Tripura Civil Services (Grade II) Exam conducted by Tripura Public Service Commission. Selection of eligible candidates is done after considering their performance in written exam and interview. Written exam comprises of 5 compulsory papers and 3 optional papers. Topics like English Composition, Bengali Composition and General Knowledge are covered under compulsory papers where as Science, Arts, Engineering, and Commerce subjects are included under the list of optional subjects.

Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (Inspire) is one of the novel programs offered by Department of Science & Technology (DST) (under the Ministry of Science and Technology). Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) is one of the components of Inspire. In this scheme a total of 10,000 scholarships are provided for students in natural/ basic sciences. Selected students are offered scholarship of Rs. 80,000/- per year.
