The PEC University of Technology was founded on November 9, 1921. It is one of the best technical colleges in India. The college offers various Engineering and Technology courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and at doctoral level. The college provides Bachelor degree courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Communication, and Metallurgical Engineering. The college selects eligible candidates to the Doctoral programmes through entrance exam.
Structure of PEC University of Technology Ph.D in Aeronautical Engineering Entrance Exam
The Ph.D entrance exam held by PEC University of Technology includes questions of objective type. The exam pattern comprises of 30-50 questions. The candidates are required to complete the exam in 60 minutes. This exam does not have the system of negative marking. Those who scored at least 40% marks in the entrance exam will be called for the interview.

Eligibility Criteria
The aspirants who wish to apply for Ph.D entrance exam of PEC University of Technology must have completed Master’s degree in Technology/Engineering/Humanities/Science. They need to score a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam. The applicants are required to score good marks in GATE. Also, they must have a JRF Fellowship.
How to Apply?
The candidate has to download the application form from the college website www.pec.ac.in. The students can also collect the form from the sale counter of the institute. For purchasing the form, they have to pay an amount of Rs. 400/- through Demand Draft. The DD has to be taken in favor of the Director, PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh. It must be payable at Chandigarh. The completed application should reach the following address along with relevant documents.
