We have five IISER institutes across the country and each institution is independent from each other. The students are asked to take IIT JEE or KVPY or the IISER science aptitude test for the admission process. There will be a assessment test and a counseling process for the students in the final selection stage.

The students pursuing the integrated program BS-MS are offered a scholarship of Rs.5,000/month under the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana. National Institute of Science and Research

This is yet another prominent institute in the country under the Division of Atomic Energy and the Degrees are recognized by the Homi Bhaba National Institute, a deemed university in the country. The institute offer 5 year integrated MSc program in Mathematics under the residential program.

The basic eligibility is plus two with 60% mark in the qualifying examination. The institute carries out national Entrance screening test to identify the right talent for the offered courses. The student’s of NISER are also offered a scholarship of Rs.5,000/month and the institute is  helping the students to shape their career in the field of mathematics.

Indian Institute of Technology

Though Indian Institute of technology is the last word for the Engineering program in India, the institute also offer Integrated M.Sc program in Applied Mathematics. The institute offers different streams like B. Tech,M.Tech or M.Sc for the Mathematics aspirants.

The selection process is based on the IIT JEE exam score. The higher secondary student with minimum 60% in the board exam is eligible to apply for the exam. The exam is of objective mode and there will be two papers, paper I and paper II, testing the reasoning, analytical and comprehension ability of the students. The curriculum and the academic activities are designed to offer the in-depth knowledge to the students in the subjects.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science

The Birla institute is yet another leading institute in the country which offer integrated M.Sc program for the Mathematics aspirants. Those opt for the integrated course are also given a chance to select a second degree in BE or B.Pharm under the dual degree system.

The selection process is based on Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test. The students with at least 80% marks in the science subjects are eligible to take the test.

Another major institutes or Universities which offer the platform for pursuing a career in mathematics include Indian Institute of Science, University of Hyderabad, etc. These institutes offer integrated programs in Maths and thus open a door in the world of numbers.
