Central Electrical Research Institute was established under the Government of India. The major objective behind the establishment of the institute is to perform research and development of the technologies in the variety of scientific and technical fields related to the electric power industry. One of the another major function of the institute is to provide education and training services.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Scientist Category-I and Scientist Category-II in Central Electrical Research Institute.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than the prescribed maximum age limit.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to have done Ph.D. for applying for the posts of Scientist (Categor-I/Category-II) in Central Electrical Research Institute.

No. of posts:

Scientist Grade IV (Category-I): Only 8 posts are available.
Scientist Grade IV (Category-II): Only 6 posts are available.

Pay Scale:

Scientist Grade IV (Category-I): Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.
Scientist Grade IV (Category-II): Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

Selection Process:

Selection of the eligible candidates on the above specified posts will be made strictly on the basis of their performance in the personal interview test.
