Sri Siddhartha Medical College is one of the premier and famous medical colleges in Karnataka. The college was founded by Sree Siddhartha Educational Society and started its journey in the year 1988 with a mission and vision to give higher studies to the students. The institute also provides excellent teaching members in order to give all sorts of study materials and project works to its students.
Infrastructure:
This medical college is located at a distance of 6 km from Tumkur city and spread over an area of 220 acres of land. The college is just 76 km from the green city of Bangalore and is well connected by roads and railways. The college has similar climate to Bangalore and provides full fledged campus facility to its students.
Courses Offered:
The college offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medical fields like MBBS and MD in Pathology, Microbiology, General Medicine, OBG, Paediatrics etc.
Admission Procedure:
Admissions into Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses are based on All India basis through a Common Entrance Test conducted by UGC or deemed universities. Those candidates appearing in undergraduate courses need to secure at least 50% marks in subjects like physics, chemistry and biology in 10+2 or its equivalent exams.
Placement:
The college provides excellent training which helps to collect all sorts of practical knowledge related to their course. The students have been placed in various national and international hospitals.
