Syed Hameedha Arts & Science College was established in the year 2000 by the Mohamed Sathak Trust. The college is located in Keelakarai in the district of Ramnad in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and it is affiliated to the Alagappa University located in Karaikudi.

Syed Hameedha Arts & Science College offers the following courses in arts and science stream of education at the UG level:

Fee structure:

The collects a fee of Rs.4000 per semester for the Bachelor of Arts courses, while for the other courses the fee per semester is Rs.5500. However, this fee structure is subject to change according to the directions of the affiliating university and the Mohamed Sathak Trust, which manages the college.

Eligibility for admission:

For getting into the aforesaid courses offered by the Syed Hameedha Arts & Science College, candidates must have completed their +2 examination and they should not be less than 16 years of age as on the 1st July of the year in which he/she is seeking admission.

How to apply:

Candidates, who wish to apply to the Syed Hameedha Arts & Science College, can get the application form from the campus of the college or from the Mohamed Sathak Trust located in Nungambakkam High Road in the city of Chennai on payment of Rs.100 in person. Application forms can also be obtained from any of these offices through post, by sending a DD for an amount of Rs.125 drawn in favor of the Principal of the college payable at Ramnad. Filled in application should reach the office of the college before the last date specified in the application.

Certificates to be produced during admission:

From the candidates who have submitted applications, shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and candidates will have to submit the following documents during admission:

• Three Xerox copies of +2 mark sheet

• Three passport size photos

• Original Conduct & TC certificate from the previous institution

• Original community certificate (if applicable)

• Original +2 mark sheet

Hostel Facility:

Syed Hameedha Arts & Science College offers good hostel facility for boys and girls separately and a large dining hall is attached to the hostel. The progress of the inmates of the hostel will be monitored by the staff and will be communicated to the parents. The hostel functions under the direct control of the Principal who acts as the Warden and the principal is assisted by a deputy warden as well.
