Thassim Beevi Abdul Kader College for women is located at the most industrially and educationally backward area of Kilakarai in the district of Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu. The college is coming under the jurisdiction of Alagappa University and it was established in the year 1988 with the objective of imparting higher education to all women in the local area and particularly to the women belonging to the minority community.

Eligibility Requirements:

For UG under arts, the candidates must have completed +2 in any group and for bachelor of commerce, the students must have studied computer science/economics, statistics/business mathematics/general mathematics, accountancy and commerce at the higher secondary level. For bachelor of Mathematics, the candidates must have completed 10+2 with mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology/computer science. For PG courses, the candidates must be a graduate in the respective field to which she is seeking admission. For entering into the MCA course offered by the college, the candidates must get through the TANCET conducted by the Government of Tamilnadu.

Placement:

A placement cell is functioning under Thassim Beevi Abdul Kadar College for Women with the objective of encouraging students for self-employment, to impart orientation/training to the students on entrepreneur skills and to guide the students in finding a suitable job.
