UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT), 2012

Structure of UPESEAT
The aptitude test for engineering consists of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The total marks allotted for the paper is 360 and the duration of the test is two hours.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should possess a minimum of 60 % for both 10th and 12th grades. The candidate should have a minimum of 60% for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, when put together.
How to Apply?
Candidates can apply online only after making an online payment. There are certain things that should be taken care of while submitting the applications online. Don’t submit the application forms unless you have entered all the details. Take a print out of the application form after filling it completely to use it for future references. After successful submission of the application form you will be provided with an application number which has to be used later for the references. Candidates can check their status of the application after 48 hours. The application can also be collected offline by sending the payment as a demand draft in favor of “UPES Fee Account” which is payable at New Delhi.

Study Plan
All the subjects seem to be basic, but the trick is that you have to keep a balance between time and aptitude.
The few things that you have to keep in mind while you are preparing for your engineering entrance exam is that you need to give your level best to get into the leading colleges/institutes in the country.
Subjects: In order to excel in engineering entrance exam you should work hard on mathematics. Regular studies will help you to master this subject. Physics and Chemistry should also be treated very seriously as you can score more marks.
Time management: One of the most essential things in preparation for entrance exam is the wise utilization of the available time. Focus on your studies by keeping breaks in between.
The Exam: While you are preparing for the examination, refer to previous question papers so that you will be aware of the type kind of questions that you have to face during the examination. It also helps you to develop confidence to face the examination.
