I have got ranked in JEXPO 5106.
I want to study Mechanical Engineering
Diploma course but in a Government College.

You have good chance of getting admission in a government polytechnic with this rank but if you are trying for mechanical engineering stream in a top college then you will face stiff competition. Government college is within you reach and you may get admission in mechanical engineering stream too but you might not get admission in on the top government polytechnic. If you belong to reserved category then your work will become a lot more easier for getting admission in a top college.
