Hi Sir, I am planning to do Diploma in Railway Engineering from The Institution of Permanent Way Engineers, New Delhi. I just want to know about the course structure of this course and also the fee expenses. Kindly tell me about the both immediately.

Diploma in Railway Engineering in The Institution of Permanent Way Engineers, New Delhi course duration of one year, comprises of 2 semesters. Course structure are as follows.
In 1st semester, students study the basic knowledge of Railway working in the fields of General Management of Railways, Civil Engineering (Works); Civil Engineering (Track), Civil Engineering ( Bridges), Signal & Telecommunication Engineering; Operational Management, Commercial Management, Stores/Material Management, Personnel Management, Financial Management of Railways & Railway Accidents & Safety measures.

Semesters 2 consists of basic knowledge of Railway working in the field of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering and specialized knowledge of Permanent Way Engineering, which includes Track structure, its Maintenance and Modernisation, Works, Bridge Engineering, Survery and construction of Railway Lines, Railway Sidings and Disaster Management.

fee expenses are as follows;
For Railway Personnel (Serving):-
1st semester Rs. 2000/-
2nd semester Rs. 2400/-
+ 18% GST as applicable.

For Non-Railway persons:-
1st semester Rs. 2500/-
2nd semester Rs. 2900/-
+ 18% GST as applicable.
