I have finished my diploma and my date of birth is july - 1988. May i eligible to apply for lateral entry B.E / B.Tech under Anna university. I want to know the maximum age limit for lateral entry B.E / B.Tech course.

There is no age restriction for getting admission in engineering course.

Thus those who have completed diploma with required percentage are eligible for Engineering course.
Must have studied physics ,chemistry and maths.
Those who have studied BSc in physics or mathematics after 10+2 will also be considered eligible.

A common entrance exam is conducted by authorities for admission.

There is no upper age limit required for lateral entry Engineering courses.

Eligibility:

1. You should have completed 10+2 qualifying examinations or diploma.

2. You should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
