Hello Sir, my daughter wants to apply for West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship. I don’t know what benefits she will get if she apply in this scholarship as she is studying 12th standard right now. So, I just want to know about the benefits of applying in this type of scholarship. Waiting for your response. Thank you!

The scholarship is for meritorious students.
It's an initiative to provide financial assistance to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker section of minority community (sc/st/obc) who are studying in class 11, 12th, graduation, postgraduation etc

For sc/st
Hostsellers will get Rs 750
Day scholars Rs 230

For OBC
Hostsellers Rs 260
Day scholars Rs 160

Selection will.be based on students performance in last qualifying exam and their financial condition.

Benefits:-

General course students in Class XI & XII
1) For Day Scholars:

Admission fee & tuition fee – INR 7,700
Maintenance Allowance – INR 2,500
2) For Hostellers:

Admission fee & tuition fee – INR 7,700
Maintenance Allowance – INR 4,200


Technical and Vocational course students in Class XI & XII

1) For Day Scholars:

Admission fee & tuition fee – INR 11,000
Maintenance Allowance – INR 2,500

2) For Hostellers:

Admission fee & tuition fee – INR 11,000
Maintenance Allowance – INR 4,200
