I am interested to study ITI course after my 10th standard. For this course I want to apply an education loan from Canara Bank. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria to apply an education loan from this bank. And also let me know about the documents which are required for applying.

Eligibility:-

Applicant should be an Indian National.

Applicant should have received admission to a recognized university abroad, preferably to a professional or technical course.

Applicant should be ready to submit acceptable collateral.

Documents Required for Canara Bank Education Loan:-

Duly filled application form.

Passport-size photograph.

Identity proof like Voter ID, Aadhaar card, driving license, passport, PAN etc.

Address proof like Aadhaar card, Driving license, Voter ID etc.

Date of birth proof.

There is no hard and fast eligibility for getting education loan.

Most of the banks are generous in extending loan facility to the students because they earn interest on them.

Eligibility
The minimum loan offered by a bank is 7.5 lacs.
Indian nationals who are majors at the loan switchover time with regular EMIs being paid.
Those who have taken admission in any UG/PG /diploma course are eligible for education loan.
The institute in which admission has been taken must be a recognised institution with good placement facility.
The candidate who is taking education loan must have an excellent academic background.
