Eligibility to apply for the HH Dalai Lama-Sasakawa Scholarship is given below:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination

Candidates who are admitted to the professional courses from Government recognized institutions

At least one parent or the applicant must have had leprosy and must be residing in a self settled leprosy colony

Candidates who are beginning their studies / courses in the academic year 2019-20 are eligible

Candidates from Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, Maharashtra and Delhi are eligible to apply

Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of application

Candidates should have passed the previous course in the year 2017, 2018 or 2019
