Hello friends, I have got admission in Vellore Institute of Technology for my BTech program. I have selected Civil Engineering. I want to take loan for my education. I have submitted the admission fee and 1st semester fee. But the problem is my father is working in Abroad and my mother passed away along time ago. I have only me left in my family. In this situation how can I get education loan? I need of loan for my education otherwise I have to stop my education. So, help me please.

A co-applicant is required to get education loan from any Bank. In the absence of your father, co-applicant can be a close relative of yours who will co-sign the loan and act as the primary debtor. Co-applicant should be an Indian citizen. In case parents are not present, then grandparents/guardians can be act as co-applicant for education loan, taking into account their net worth.

In order to get education loan, you can apply by visiting your nearest bank branch and ask for application form for education loan. The bank representative will then guide you with all the necessary information regarding eligibility and documents required. You cab apply online through the official website of Bank's.
