Hi Sir/Madam, I want to get selected for the IIT Roorkee Department of Electrical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship of this year. I am an ME holder and I am going to apply for this JRF programme. Please tell me about the selection criteria of this JRF programme.

°°° Selection criteria under IIT Roorkee Department of Electrical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is provided below:

The selection of the candidates will be made based on the applicant's performance in the interview.

The application deadline is 15th March 2021

To be eligible, an applicant must:

Hold a first class B tech / BE in electronics and Communications, electronic instrumentation or relevant discipline.

Have qualified GATE exam.

All the candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the interview and relevant experience.

Application deadline is 15th March, 2021.

No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.

Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.

The selected candidate may get an opportunity for PhD admission.
