Re: Which is the best MBA specialization for a B.tech(CSE)?
Hi
B.Tech is the Bachelor in Technology and it is one of the best and top end graduation courses available in the market. As and when you are done with it, you would want to take a look at the MBA options best for you. I would just brief you about the MBA course. MBA - Masters in Business Administration. Its a post graduation program of 2 years duration, which mainly deals with the study of the Corporate dealing, functioning's, and operations. Corporates are the MNC's private Companies, which are of huge values and hence they require highly qualified professionals to carry out their operations in both India as well as abroad. So MBA course does this, prepares students who are fresh graduates to play their part in any MNC they go into. Doing MBA would certainly boost your chances of getting a job in a reputated MNC. The most elected MBA specializations are : Finance Human Resource Sales and Marketing Retail Hotel International Business Entrepreneurship etc... Finance and HR are the top ones and mostly elected by the toppers of the CAT exam. Now being a IT student, I suppose you should be good at mathematics. If you are, and want to polish your calculating skills, PLEASE take up Finance (Of course if your MBA entrance rank permits). It would create a huge value for you in the market. Rest the decision is all yours All the best |

Re: Which is the best MBA specialization for a B.tech(CSE)?
Dear
In my view, if you complete your graduation (B.Tech) then in addition to that, you must also go for MBA specialization..... As it is, nowadays, there is a great demand of MBA in the market.... Now, for a B Tech(CSE), you must go for MBA finance....It is comparatively a better option... Thankyou Aishwarya Mehrotra |

Re: Which is the best MBA specialization for a B.tech(CSE)?
You are eligible to join MBA course soon after completion of your Graduation in B.Tech with CSE group.
My suggestion would be to go for the job opportunity in IT companies rather than opting for MBA course. You can do MBA course along with your job also. By the time you complete your MBA course, you will get 2 years of industry experience if you join in job. But if you have profound interest to opt for MBA course, you can apply for it. The admission for this course will be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam. Popular Entrance Exams to join this course are CAT MAT GMAT SNAP etc. You should have scored a minimum of 50% of marks in your B.Tech course in order to be eligible for the Entrance Exam. If you want to do MBA course in technical related specializations, you can opt for MBA in Information Technology MBA in Systems Management In contrast to this, if you want to do MBA in other specializations, then you can opt for MBA in Marketing Management MBA in Human Resource Management MBA in Retail Management MBA in Hospital Management MBA in Operations Management MBA in Logistics Management etc. Have good preparation for the Entrance Exam and crack it. Wish you all the best. |

Re: Which is the best MBA specialization for a B.tech(CSE)?
Friend,
It seems you want your B tech ( CSE ) to look countable even after your MBA . You can check symbi - SCIT for various specializations as lately they have started offering MBA/PGDBA in IT/ISS (Information Security)/Networks and Telecom . Even opting for MBA in telecom could avail the chances of leveraging the Comp Sc engineering degree post your MBA . In case if you score really high and highly potent in MBA entrance then best option must be NITIE that is an exclusive option for engineers for an MBA . |

Friend ,
It seems you want to get your b tech ( cse) degree countable even after your PG . Pls check for SCIT as lately they have started offering PGDBA/MBA in ISS(Info security n systems)/IT/Network . Subjects you might have studied while B tech can definitely be leveraged while studying these courses and also post to PG , one can get in ITES . Adding to this , I would also enlighten a new era ie telecom . It`s a pivot in todays world and MBA in telecom is also worth for any EC/ET/CSE engineer . Good luck |
