I got 5438general state rank and 1012obc staterank in aieee and I am permited for counciling. Can I get any govt. or good private college?

my rank in aieee is 108060 and obc category rank is 27467.can i get a seat in any NITs?

Hi,

You have taken coaching for AIEEE , so now your concepts are almost clear in Physics,
Chemistry and
Maths.

So, don't take too much tension

Now only thing you have to do is Revise all these subject Try to solve as many model papers as you can.Remember all tricks taught to you in coaching
Try to solve last 10 years AIEEE papers.

And most important solve papers in in time bounding of three hours.

And definitely you will qualify AIEEE with good rank.

The rank is dependent on the following for an individual:
1)Caste(open/obc/sc/st/ph)
2)Home State
3)Branch Opting for

In general for an open category student you need to get a rank within 10,000 to get a descent branch in a descent NIT.

Hi,
We cannot predict the cut off and marks as such so that you can set up an.accurate target. Because every year competition gets tense and the cut off fluctuates. Therefore we can just get a brief idea about the rank for the NITs.
If you're having a mind set that you want to be in a core branch like civil, electrical or mechanical.
Or if you want a popular branch like cs or electronics, then you must aim for a rank under 8000-10000 because beyond these ranks, you cannot get into these branches unless you have a reservation quota.
And if you are ready to take admISSION in any of the branch in NIT, then a minimum of under 40000 all India rank is required.
