You want to serve the nation, which is really appreciable.But the only minimum educational requirement for appear in the INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES EXAMINATIONS is a B.tech degree, in any of these streams that I have mentioned below-
1. mechanical engineering
2. electronics engineering
3 electrical & communication engineering
4. civil engineering..

So you are not eligible .

This examination is conducted by the UPSC(UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION) every year..

The minimum educational qualification needed for appear in this examination is a B.tech degree from a recognized college.


there is nothing about minimum marks requirement criteria for appear in this exam.So, you can appear for this exam without any problem after completion of your graduation.


Syllabus -



The age limit for this examination is 21-30 years,.
21-33 years for the OBC candidates,
21-35 years for the SC\ST candidates..


No. of attempts-
4 for the general candidates,
7 for the OBC candidates,
no such restriction for the sc\st candidates..
