I am Abbas and I have missed my chance of applying in the 2011 nda1 as I was busy in my NCC camps. Iam at the RD parade right now. Will it make a lot of difference if I apply for NDA? Will doing Republic Day at Delhi help me in NDA? I was also the All India Best Cadet in 2008.

Its good to hear that you are applying for UPSC examination.Don't worry,you can get through it.A little bit of hard work and dedication in needed and then you can make it.There is not much difference in NDA 1 and NDA 2.NDA 1 is conducted on the month of april and NDA 2 is conducted on the month of August.All you need is a pass certificate of 12th.Class 11 and 12 standard syllabus is good enough for you to prepare for NDA exam.

Is there any problem to give NDA2 without giving NDA1 ?

their is no difference just nos of applicants in NDA 2 are less so you have better chances to clear.. the dates are different that is in april and august 3rd Sunday respectivel. also obviously ur date of joining will also be different...

The only main difference is that the 1st exam is conducted in april while the later is in August.
This is the same exam and carry the same weightage. Focus on your objectives and select your convenience when do you want to write your examination.

Recruitment of candidates to Army, Navy and Air force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA), is through National Defence Academy Entrance Exam which is held twice a year, generally in the month of April and September. But this time one exam is in August.

For 2011 dates are:
NDA I( 2011):17.04.2011
NDA II ( 2011): 21.08.2011

NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). A candidate must be an unmarried male. The course of training is for three years.

there is no difference between NDA 1 and NDA 2 the only this is that NDA 1 is conducted in starting of the year and NDA 2 is conducted in the end if the year......

there is no such class for this exam as this exam is not very hard....if you studied well in 12 then you will be definitely able to clear this exam.....

there is no exam fees,but you have to pay Rs.20 at the time of purchasing the form....

There is no such significant diffrence in NDA1 and NDA2 examination. NDA exam is conducted twice in a year in the month of April and August so it is abbrivated as NDA 1 and NDA 2 exam.

But each time eligibility criteria slightly changes, that is age eligibility and some examination codes.

Selection for SSB interview will not only based on mathematics marks scored in NDA examination, you must have scored certain minimum marks in both the sets.

Commition notice number is nothing but an notification number indicating the official release of NDA examination notification. It is very essential to mention this code in the application form otherwise it would be rejected.

As such there is no difference between NDA I AND NDA II examination

only difference that comes is in terms of date of joining.

There is a difference of six months in joining of NDA (I) and NDA(II) recommended candidates.

So, prepare well and try to clear NDA(I) so that you get earlier joining.

The only difference between NDA 1 and NDA 2 is the time or month in which that particular NDA exam takes place.

NDA exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

This exam will be conducted twice in a year.

The first time in the academic year is called NDA 1 and the second time as NDA 2.

For the academic year 2011, NDA 1 exam was already over on 17 th April, 2011

NDA 2 exam is going to be conduced on 21-08-2011

there is no difference between NDA1 and NDA 2, its only that the exam is conducted twice a year so it is named in such a fashion

there is no difference in between NDA I and NDA II. both examinations are same. actually NDA examination is conducted twice in a year. first is called NDA I and second is called NDA II. this examination is conducted by UPSC. the eligibility criterion to appear in NDA examination is candidate should have 12th Pass certificate with physics, chemistry and mathematics. those who are appearing 12th examination may also apply for NDA examination. for NDA I and NDA II examination eligibility criterion is same but age eligibility criterion is difference.

There is just the difference of dates in NDA I and NDA II.syllabus,exam pattern,duration of exam and everything except the question paper is same.It is conducted twice a year in April and August that is why it is given numbers I and II.

Application fee: For General OBC candidates 50/- central recruitment fee stamp (SC-ST-PH candidates are exempted)

Dear frend,

There is no differnce between NDA 1 and NDA 2..both are for the

admission in NDA but 1 is held in the month of april and the 2nd one is held in

the month of august..if u clear the entrance tests,you shall be called for the

5-day Service Selection Board interview, pass your medicals, and you're in

NDA. Three years in NDA and you will be a much improved person. The course

for NDA 1 begins in december and that for 2 begins in july.

In order to prepare for the entrance test you

should be thorough with your maths ncert book and be up-to-date with daily

news.you should also give a reading to the history book you had studied

during 10th class.And when you have done all these buy a book of NDA which

contains the previous 10years solved questions which will give you an idea on

the pattern of questions which comes during the examination..

National Defence Academy NDA & NA Exam (I) and (2)2011 Educational Qualifications :

1. for Army wing of National Defence Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

2. For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

no difference between them its just the difference of months the forms comes in a year to forms comes one in month of may and another in november its fees is just 100RS available in post offices eligibilty is age no class

There is no difference between NDA1 and NDA2.
NDA exams are conducted twice in a year.NDA1 is conducted in the beginning of the year and NDA2 is conducted at the end of the year.Both are same.

There is no fee for the exam.You need to only pay application fee i.e Rs 25/- for online submission and Rs 50/- for offline submission.

there is no difference in nda 1 and nda 2. both are same test just they both held in the same year but in different months

if you are good in your +2 class then you dont have to take classes for this test because the test comes from +1 and +2 only

there is no difference in nda i and nda 2 at all,they both are the same ,the difference is just the the time of exam and the age limit,

NDA or Nartional Defence Academy takes in two batches every year. Summer and winter courses. So every year there are 2 exams conducted by UPSC. There is absolutely no difference for the 2 exams. You can apply for both exams. If you are clearing the exam, you will be called for an Interview called the SSB interview. After the interview, you will have a medical test. After successfully completing the interview and the medical test, you will be able to join the NDA.

the diff. is only that in 1st exam we do something in our real life for our country & 2nd if we are fail in 1st then we fulfilled it in 2nd attempt.

The exact difference between NDA 1 and NDA 2 is that NDA 1 Exam is going to be conducted in the month of April where as NDA 2 Exam is going to be conducted in the month of August

Both NDA 1 and NDA 2 Exams will be conducted by UPSC- Union Public Service Commission every year.

Actually the both exams are conducted for defense service which demands only 12th standard.
The Difference is in that NDA-1 exam consists of more 12 standard questions than 11th standard

In NDA-2 exam consists of more 11th standard questions than 12th standard
