i am giving bhel exam for engineer tranee on 29 november 2009. i want to know the syllabus for that exam. my branch is ECE. if you have previous bhel papers of the same exam or sample papers then please send me those too.

Selection process will consist of written test and personal interview.

All eligible candidates will be invited for written test at their own expense. The written test papers will be objective type in nature and will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi and English, thereafter, the candidates will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:3 to the no. of vacancies in order of merit of written test.

there is no syllabus for technical exams like BHEL.generally you have to follow the syllabus of GATE for these type of exams.and one thing you have study all the papers clearly and have a deep knowledge over main papers of your branch.

there will be two papers one is technical and other is aptitude test paper.after passing the written exam you have to appear for personal interview.

Better to prepare throughly in powersystems,machines,control systems,circuits in depth and going on thru book containing plenty of bits like galgotia harish c.ray..give u confidence in attempting for such exams...No luck.... only confidence helps u ....all d best

sir i want to syllabus for BHEL exam

As you are from ECE branch,concentrate more on Control Systems,Analog Electronics and Digital too is important.There might not be much questions from Communications part.And do make a point to get wel along with the general Engineering from your branch to electrical.Apart from this Aptitude too will be important.As Bhel has not mentioned any particular syllabus.
I will suggest you to get a glimpse of some question papers from placementspapers.net or questionspapers.in.

The written test of BHEL is comprised of two sections:
1) Aptitude Test: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Logical thinking, English Usage and General Awareness.
2) Technical Test: It contains a general engineering questions and the other part being as per specialization in engg.

BHEL itself doesn't provide syllabus for the written exam. However, as per various sources (Question Papers and Coaching Institutions), GATE syllabus is considered to have mostly things in common. The aptitude test use to be similar with those of the other competitive examination.
