I am from science with aggregate of 70% marks in ISC and want to take B Com accounts honours now.I achieved 52% marks in maths.Will i get?
And if i apply my application in any college and i m eligible for the addmission still my name is not there in the list,what i should do.
Also suggest some colleges.

yes you can apply for admission but admission is depend on your percentages at least 70% so you can apply in b.com honor.

Yes definately you will get admission in b.com hons. because you have get more than 60% marks in your 12th exams and the minimum eligiblity of b.com hons. is to Pass in
12th with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent or relevant higher examination. So, you
are fulfill the eligiblity creteria. So, you are eligible................

Sorry Dear, you cannot go for B.Com Hons. since you are from science stream

Minimum Eligibility for joining B/Com.Hons.: You should be having Accounts, Business Economics, Mathematics// Commerce in your +2.
Some Universities ask for 60% marks or 55% depending on your category.

But you can try through Distance Education offered by some Universities

You are totaly eligible for this course but if your name is not in the list , there is some another reason behind this.
Now a days the percentage is going so high that many good student dont get good colleges because of their low %.
You have to wait for second or third list. I hope you will get good college.
I think Delhi University is good for this course.

Hi, if your name is not in the list then might be possible that you are not selected based on college cut off marks ..there is not to worry you have a good marks so try applying to other colleges..

the general eligibility for the course is
# General: 60% in aggregate + 60% in Accountancy / Mathematics or in any related subject (see below). + Minimum 30% marks in Mathematics at the Secondary (Class X) level.
# SC/ST: 40% in aggregate OR 40% in Accountancy / Mathematics or in any related subject

so there are chances that your name may not appear in the first list but it will be there in the second list there are colleges who intake students with 40 marks ion maths as well
some of them are like Hinduja ,Jai Hind,Sydhenam etc
dont get disheartened .Commerce people usauallyy get admission in good colleges

definitely!!!

you are eligible for the course but you won't be able to get some good college on this basis because the cutoff's of most of the colleges are >70% nowadays and you can apply for delhi university for sure but you cannot get admission into it since the min. cutoff for delhi uni. is mostly > than 85 % .

so hope for the best but you can apply for university of rajasthan,and also some of your state of eligibility.

Since you are from science background and got 52% in maths, the chances of getting accounts honors is very less.
The eligibility for pursuing BCom (hons.) in accountancy for non-commerce candidates in most of the institutes is a minimum of 55% in aggregate and atleast 55% in Maths or statistics.
I dont know what made you switch to the other stream, But if you are able to get Honors in accountancy, it's not going to be easy for you. Because you are a non-commerce student, the only subject that you could relate is maths and you are not excellent in it too. So, I would suggest you to stick to your expertise, that can only get you success.

i hav scored 79% in my isc but got only 22% in maths... can i get admsn in bcom hons? if not what else can i do for a better career ?

you can get admission in B.com hons but you cann't get good college. so dont get nervous and try in other colleges

or otherwise select suitable course as per your need

or go for distance education.

yes you will get admission in b.com bcoz you are qualify the criteria of board if ypyou have above 60% marks in the 12th examination

A science student is always eligible to get admission in any streams. So yeah sure you can take B.Com honors.

But the 71% is not an aggregate that can fetch you this course easily and that too when you do not belong to the Commerce stream.

Anyways, the marks in maths is not any factor.
All the universities across India consider the BEST OF FOUR SUBJECTS. So calculate that, and then see last years cut off marks of the university you want to apply for..

That would give you an idea of your chances.
