My son was born on Jan 28,2019.Is he eligible for LKG in the academic year 2022-23..In future when he going to 10th board exam he is eligible to write 10th exam?

The ideal age of entry to LKG should be 4 years and STD I at 6 years. There is the mistaken impression amongst people that their child will “lose a year” if they are put in a class lower than what they are officially eligible for.

As per CBSE for admission to LKG , kid should have completed 3 years as on April 2021 .

For LKG admission of year 2022 to 2023 , the child age must be between 3.6 to 4.6 years.

The age criteria for LKG for the academic year 2022-2023 are born on or before 1st April 2018 to 31st March 2019. The child's age should be three-plus as of 31st March 2022. As per the new rule, there is a relaxation of 30 days for both lower and upper age limits. Similarly, for KG and 1st class admissions, there is a 30-day relaxation offered by some schools falling under the DOE. You need to drop a manual application to the school asking to provide relaxation in the school.

Age criteria for LKG for academic year 2022-2023:-

A child going to take admission for LKG class must have completed 3 years 10 months as on or before June 1 of the Year .

The right age for a candidate to join LKG is 4 years or above than that.

As per Kendra Vidyalaya (CBSE), For class one the kid should completed 5 years as on April 1st on that education year.

LKG — kid should completed 3years as on April 2021 For LKG admission of year 2021–2022 educational year. In General, 3.6 to 4.6 years are eligible for LKG.

As per the guidelines of the central board of secondary education (CBSE), the age of the student should be between 3 years to 4 years to get admission to LKG.
