Re: Age limit for Bank PO exam?
In current scenario, every now and then we see that several banks are coming for the recruitment of Probationary officers and Clerical positions. In fact these are the entry level positions for the banks.
As many public sector banks provide job security, good work environment and better benefits to employees, there is a tough competition among the candidates who are appearing for the exam since the number of candidates appearing are very high in number. Here i am providing you some details of probationary officers recruitment by banks. Age limit : - A candidate must possess an age between 21-30 years of age in order to appear for the exam for most of the banks. However there is relaxation in age for other categories. Educational qualifications : - One should be a graduate from a recognized university and have to secure an aggregate of 55% in graduation and 60% in their 10+2 in order to appear for the exam for most of the banks. However there is some relaxation for other categories and its is 5% that means they need to secure an aggregate of 50% in their graduation and 55% in their 10+2. The selection procedure will be -Written test -Personal Interview. Written test consists of questions from categories like -Reasoning -Quantitative aptitude -General awareness -General English -Computer/ Marketing knowledge One need to qualify in each of the category. There is also negative marking for wrong answers. So you should be so careful Personal Interview Candidates who are qualified in the written test will be called for interview depending upon the number of positions that a particular bank willing to fill. |
