Information Regarding NDA Examination.

National Defence Academy (NDA) examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice in every year for the admission in the Indian Navy , Indian Army and Air Force wings of NDA. To appear in the NDA examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = The details information about educational qualification is given below :
-> For Army wing :- Pass 12th class examination or equivalent examination.
-> For Naval and Air Force wing :- Pass 12th class examination or equivalent examination with physics and mathematics as the main subject.

Age Limit = The age must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years at the time of appearing of NDA examination.

Physically Standard = According to eligibility criteria a candidate must be physically fit for the NDA examination. The minimum height for the NDA examination is 157.5 cms. The details information regarding height-weight is given below :

NOTE :- The NDA examination is conducted only for the unmarried male candidates., Female candidates are not eligible for NDA examination.

N.D.A i.e National Defence Academy Examination

UPSC conducts the National Defence Academy examination and Naval Academy Examination for Army,Navy and Air force wings of N.D.A

Age limits:-

For Army,Navy and Air force :-

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible and the candidate age should between 16.5 to 19 yrs of age at the time of appearing

National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examination is premiere defence forces entry examination conducted by UPSC twice in a year in the month of April and August.

Eligibility: The candidate must be a male Indian and umarried candidate within the age limit of 16 1/2 to 19 years as on the date of commencement of training.

Educational qualification: The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised educational board. Those candidates who are willling to join Airforce or Navy wing must have passed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

How to apply : NDA examination notification will be published in Employment News paper in the month of October and March for April and August examinations respectively.

Eligibility for NDA Examination

Educational Eligibility
• 12th pass from any recognized university in any steam.
• For Army wing - Candidate from any stream can apply.
• For Naval and Air force wing - Candidate of any stream can apply.
Age Limit
• 16.5 year to 19 year.

Age limit for NDA(National Defense Academy)/NA entrance exam. The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC(union public service commission).

* The age limit for NDA exam must be within 16.5 to 19 years.
* Unmarried male candidates are only allowed
* Candidates should complete 12th from a recognized institute.
* Candidates should study physics and maths as subject

You can apply for any of these three wings

1. Army wings
2. Navy wings
3. Airforce wings

NDA stands for National defense acadmy and this is the entrance exam conducted by UPSC for joining army wings.

There are three wings army wings /naval wings /air force wings
and army wings is the only wings in which students from any stream science /commerce /arts can apply

NDA Examination :

There are two exams NDA I and NDA II and this is conducted twice in ayear those who are not able to attempt NDA I can apply for NDA II

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY for joining army is by NDA exam is that you should pass in 12th exam with atleast 50% marks

AGE LIMIT :For appearing in NDA exam your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 yrs of age

As per the eligibility criteria for NDA Exam.
For Army wing,you must have completed 10+2.
In order to join Navy and Air Force wings,
You must have gone through Physics and Mathematics as the subjects at 10+2.

One should be in the age between 16 1/2 years to 19 years are eligible.

As your date of birth is on 21-09-1993,
your age is 18 years by 2011 and by 2012 you are going to complete 19 years.

you can appear for upcoming NDA Exam.

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army etc.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I and NDA-II exam are conducted twice in year, because the person who was not able to attend for NDA-I exam, he can apply for NDA-II exam in the same year, without having gap between the education.

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.

NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

there have not any age relation or reservation in NDA exam.

After 10+2 you are eligible for NDA exam also your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

So if your age this is above 19 years. then you are not eligible for NDA exam now.

After completion of your graduation you are eligible for NDA exam.

Age eligibility for NDA exam:-

There is no age relaxation for SC/ST or OBC category students..

WHEN COURSE IS DUE TO COMMENCE.
Not at time of applying

NDA selection process ,three level
1)Aptitude test-written test
2)Service Selection Board interview
psychological test,picture perception test,group discussion
3)Physical test

It takes nearly 1 year time to complete the entire process of selection.
As mentioned at time of commencement of the course,it must be 16.5 to 19 years.
Candidate must be between age is 15.5 to 18 years,after completing all selection process it will be 19 years.

Applied at age of 18 years 1 day,after 1 year selection process it will be 19 years 1 day.
Not applicable.
