My son DOB 29.06.2011, now he completed 3rd standard in CBSE affiliated school in year of 2018-2019. Now he is going to 4th standard in the year of 2019-2020 session. Will he be allowed to appear for 10th board exam under CBSE curriculum as per his age?

As per the CBSE curriculum, to be eligible for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examination the minimum age of candidate must be at least 14 years as on the 1st October of year of admission to Class 10th. Further, there is no maximum age criteria to appear in Class 10th board examination.

As per the above mentioned details, your son is likely to get admitted to Class 10th in the academic session 2025-26 and hence he will be eligible to appear in his Class 10th board examination in the same year as his age will be over 14 years as on 01.10.2025 as per the age criteria for appearing in the CBSE Class 10th board examination.
