Yes after completion of BHMS course you are eligible for the Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics Course. Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology is a two-year PG medical diploma course.

Eligibility Criteria:-

To do this course you need to complete MBBS or BHMS from recognized College or University. You also need to have one year of compulsory rotating internship.

Diploma in Gynecology and Obstetrics (DGO) is a three years duration full time Diploma course.

Eligibility criteria for diploma in gynecology :-

-The candidate should have passed MBBS or BAMS or BHMS course with minimum 50% marks from any Medical college recognized by the medical council of India.

-The candidate should have completed one year of compulsory rotating internship.

MBBS is must for any postgraduate medical degree or diploma.

After BHMS one can pursue MD-Homeopathy.

Before applying for any postgraduate medical course you need to have registration at medical council. For this registration you must have to pass MBBS and complete internship.

So please come out of this dream.

Is there any College offering diploma in gynecology and obstetrics course for Male students like me. I'M BHMS passout in 2011 from University of Calcutta with 54.76 percent with a OBC certificate. Also completed 1 yrs compulsory internship in Calcutta. Worked at a Cancer Hospital under Lt. Dr. Ashis Mukhopadhyay for 6 yrs 9 months precisely followed by self clinical practice also.
