Am I eligible for OBC NCL if my parents income is more than 6 Lacs?
Am i eligible for OBC NCL as both, both of my parents are class 3 officers and their income is more than 6 lacs combined.

# Term creamy layer is applicable on children of following are considered under creamy layer of OBC category:
* President of India * Judges of Supreme Court and High Court * Employees of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) * Employee of Central and State Government above a certain post * Defence personal of military and paramilitary forces above Colonel rank or equivalent # Moreover, children of persons of following professional whose annual income is up to Rs. 6,00,000/- per annum for a period of three consecutive years are not considered under creamy layer of OBC category: * Chartered Accountant * Income Tax consultant * Doctor * Advocate * Author * Sports person * Dental Surgeon * Engineer * Financial / Management Consultant * Computer Specialist * Film Artist / Professional * Architect * Media Professional |
