are there any seat reserved for children of Ex-armyman in IIT or NIT with GATE score ?
if so, where can i get with a gate score of 418 and my father is a retired armyman?

well no there is no such reservation in IITs .

there is only three kind of reservation as mentioned by INDIAN GOVERNMENT

1.SC/ST
2.OBC
3.PH(PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED )

OTHER THEN these three there is no other reservation :

No,there's no reservation provided for children of Defence stream.

For IIT seats are reserved for SC/ST,OBC and candidates with Physical Ability.Two seats in each Institute will be alloted of defence/para military personnel killed or permanently disabled in action of war or peace time operations.

Similarly for AIEEE/GATE there are no reservations for ex-defence personnel.

Dear friend there is no any reservation for EX-SERVICEMAN.................

there is only reservation for sc/st/physically handicapped.............

that's why you can apply only in general category..........

according to goverment law 5% seat available in each educational institute is it true???

There is no such reservation in IITs and NITs. According to government rules reservation is only given to OBC-Non Creamy (27%), SC (22.5%), ST (7%) and PH Candidates.
