Is B.Ed compulsory to apply and write the TET entrance examination?
Hi, can I apply and write the TET entrance examination after completing my Master's degree in Mathematics but without completing B.Ed degree? Or, do I need to completed the B.Ed as well?

TET is Teacher Eligibility Test. Along with academic qualification such as higher secondary, graduation or post graduation it is pre-requisite to have the diploma or bachelor degree in education or equivalent qualification.
So, you are not eligible to appear in the TET examination, if you have not pursued D.Ed or B.Ed course from a recognised institutions. |

Yes, B.Ed is compulsory to apply and write that entrance examination.
TET stands for the Teachers Eligibility Test. It is conducted on state level as well the central level. This entrance exam is conducted for government teachers job. So you can apply state level TET exam as well as central TET exam. There is no age criteria for TET exam. Also you are eligible for faculty post in a diploma college through Public Service Commission. |

The academic qualification required to apply for Teacher Eligibility test:
