Sir i have taken admission in one year bed course in university of jammu . But in ncte website none of b.ed college of jammu university is available. So , please tell me that is b.ed degree from jammu university is accepted in other states and central government for employment .

Jammu University is accredited by NAAC and is certified by ISO. However, as per the acquired information regarding the approval of National Council for Teacher Education [NCTE]for the B.Ed program is concerned, it is not approved. However, if one is seeking for Teachers job in a Government School one must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelors degree program if the B.Ed program is not approved by the NCTE. In case the B.Ed program is approved by the NCTE, candidate will be eligible with 45% marks. Beside this there won't be much obstacles on your way to getting jobs in State or Central government organizations given you put in all the required efforts to pursue the program.

i have come all the way from arunachal pradesh to pursue my b.ed degree university of jammu. later i came to know that it is not approved by ncte act. in arunachal most of the schools are run government. therefore, shall i be egible for that? i m sure,they will surely ask ncte approve degree. pls give me some suggestion. it will be grateful to you. thank you advance.
