BC caste category falls under which category for the purpose of GATE?
Sir, I belong to BC caste category and while applying for the GATE application form I noticed that there is no BC caste option available. What should I do now? Which option should I select? I am not sure but I think that I fall under OBC caste. Could you please confirm on this?

Hello Sir/Ma'am. As per your query as if "BC" comes under general category or not I need to clarify you that there is no such caste name as "BC". Your caste does not come under general category. Your caste comes under OBC category. OBC category consists of "backward castes" and "most backward castes".
