Linear Algebra: Algebra of matrices, determinants, systems of linear equations, Eigen values and Eigen vectors. Numerical Methods: LU decomposition for systems of linear equations; numerical solutions of non-linear algebraic equations by Secant, Bisection and Newton-Raphson Methods; Numerical integration by trapezoidal and Simpson’s rules. There are 2 parts:
Part I will be testing Quantitative ability, Reasoning ability, Logical thinking, English usage, and general awareness : - Antonyms, synonyms, error finding, passage etc. Part II will be based on your specialization . Here questions will be based on your college syllabus to test your talent in your stream. : - Data Structure, Programming, Networking, Graph Theory, Software Engineering, Testing, Digital Electronics, Operating System, LINUX (Full GATE Syllabus) Total of 240 questions, will be multiple choice objective type. |
