Which is better between B.Sc Agriculture and B.Sc Horticulture?

What is the basic difference between the two degrees of B.Sc Agriculture and B.Sc Horticulture? What is the scope of each in Indian market and what are the job opportunities in each of the two cases?

Agriculture deals with growing food crops. It also leads to study of animals and cattles required for farming purpose. While Horticulture will focus on techniques and methods required for proper evolution of plants, planting seeds, etc.
B.Sc. Agriculture has greater scope in India than B.Sc. Horticulture. You can also find many colleges/institutes offering B.Sc. Agriculture. B.Sc. Agriculture graduates are in much demand than Horticulture graduates.

Horticulture deals with small scale gardening and usually in closed Gardens although this is not a necessity while agriculture is done on large scale with extensive crop cultivation. So, I would like to suggest you to go for Bsc agriculture degree course.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
