Hi, I will be appearing for Aptitude test conducted by Indian Institute of Science Education and Research - IISER. Could anybody please confirm me whether Biology is an optional paper or compulsory paper?

No, Biology is not an optional paper in IISER Aptitude Test.

You will have to face following sections in IISER Aptitude test i.e.

• Physics - 15 questions
• Chemistry - 15 questions
• Mathematics - 15 questions
• Biology - 15 questions

There will be Multiple-choice questions.

Duration of the exam will be 3 hours and number of questions will be around 60.

For each correct answer, you will get 3 marks, while for wrong answer you will be rewarded -1 mark.

Yes, definitely paper of Biology in IISER Aptitude Test is a compulsory one along with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry all having equal weightage in the test.
