Infosys written test consists of
  • aptitude question
  • completion of sentences
  • correction of sentences
  • reading comprehension
  • synonyms,antonyms.

all are multiple choice question and they may put sectional cutoff in aptitude and verbal so pay weightage to both parts.

Go through GRE ..

For Antonyms there are five excercises in GRE, go through all of them.

be through with the following chapters OF R.S.Aggrawal:

1.Time and distance

2.Time and work

3.Series

4.Percentage

5.Problem on ages

6.Profit and loss

7.Boats and streams

8.Chain rule

dear friend,

For Infosys there are mainly three section which are given below :

1. Aptitude Test,
2. Technical Interview,
3. Personal Interview/HR.

Now I have mentioned some books for each three section and how to prepare each section :

1. Aptitude Test :

For this section you must Read and Practice the following books very well :

* Quantative Aptitude Test by R.S.Agarwall,
* Verbal Reasoning Series by R.S.Agarwall,
* Quantative Aptitude by Sharma & Sharma (if you have time to practice.)

Generally Aptitude test for Infosys are consist of two sub-section which are :

* Mathematical Portion and
* English Portion.

All mathematical aptitude question are comes from Quantative Aptitude Test by R.S.Agarwall.So you have to practice it very well ( without leaving any chapter ).
All English aptitude question are comes from Verbal Reasoning Series by R.S.Agarwall. But this book have so many chapter. So from there you have to practice only Synonyms and Antonyms portion very well because Infosys set mainly these two portion very well.
This is all about aptitude test preparation.

2. Technical Interview :

For Technical interview you have to choose and write previously your preferable subjects and languages in your CV. Although the interviewer may ask you about your
favorite subjects and favorite computer languages. Then they ask you on that subjects.Besides these, they can ask you other subjects also. So prepare for it carefully.
This is all about your technical interview.

For this section as you mention the subjects you have to study the books like :

* C by Kanithkar
* DBMS by Korth
* JAVA by Shield
* Data Structure by Baluja etc.

3. Personal Interview/HR :

In general they can ask you here some common question like :

* Tell me about yourself ?
* Strength and weakness ?
* family background?
* hobbies ?
* Why should I hire you ?
* After 5 years where do you want to see yourself ?
* In what ways have you learned from your mistakes ?

For this section you have to prepare from the following book like :

* GRE by Barron
Besides this you have to prepare from current affairs.

all the best.

dear friend,
Infosys conduct an aptitude test first, after qualifying in aptitude test you have to go through the interview..
To crack the aptitude test you have to practice GRE Barron..
The questions are more logical rather than mathematical..
So, the only book can help you out is GRE barron..
I will suggest you to go for Barron, and before appearing in the campus drive you just visit to their official website, where you find sample question papers , which will help you a lot to crack the exam..

So, go for it..
All the best.

time management is very important while you write the exam...be sure u attend all the questions as you got no negative markings....
i pefer u book-r.s.agarwal verbal and non-verbal...

concentrate in reasoning topics like
figure series...
arrangements....(linear,circular)
data sufficiency...
sllylogisms...
data intrepetation..
you need to secure atleast minimum of 18 out of 30 in reasoning...
then only verbal section will be corrected...

for verbal minimum of 25 has to be correct out of 40.....

sentence correction...
passage comprehension...
antonyms..synonyms...

develop habit of reading newspapers which would help you lot in clearing verbal section....

you need to prepare for
1. Aptitude exam
2. verbal

for aptitude, Aggarwal is the best book, because even the company approaches it for the questions. so you can expect a lot of direct questions.

for verbal as well, you can refer Aggarwal.

Dear friend ,

For getting job in infosys, you need to clear two rounds ::

1.Aptitude test
2.Interview.

In infosys , aptitude round is tougher than the interview round . If y pass the aptitude round then you are quite ahead in the race of selected candidates. In order to pass the aptitude you need to practice a lot of aptitue questions. The best books for these purpose are :

1. R.S.Agarwal.
2. BARRONS
.

These books are of great help in case of logical reasoning , english , and verbal reasoning. So practice a lot friend.
Best of luck....
