sir iam good at maths.which branch should i take in btech???

Selection of the course can be done according to your interest. Mathematics is equally important for all engineering streams. You can look for specialization in IT/CSE if interested in software field. Those interested in automobiles can look for subjects like mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, automobile engineering etc. Other streams like ECE, EEE etc are also good.

Being good in Mathematics will help you a lot as in most of the streams in Engineering, sound knowledge is required. But you have to choose a stream which appeals most to you. You should go for that stream which is more interesting for you and you will like to study in.

But if it so happens that you are getting admission in a good college but not a suitable stream then it really depends on you. Some people go for the name of the college while others go for their preferred stream.

Whatever you choose at the end of the end you should be happy and ready to study nicely in the subjects of that stream.

As you have Mention that you are greatly interested in maths and also good in it and ask for the B>Tech branch that will help you in further maths ? Let me explain you that in B.Tech all the branches like ECS, CSE, IT, Mech., Aeronautics etc. have the same amount of maths course.....

All the branch have the four types of Maths Maths-I, Maths-II, Maths-III and Maths-IV in first four Consecutive Semester and it is same for all the engineering branch....

SO, you have to find the another option based on which you have to choose your interested branch of study.....

So, if you are interested in Machinery Field then you can Choose Mechanical Branch....

If you are interested in Software then go for Computer or IT Field.....

If you are interested in Communication field then go for Electronics and Communication.....

If you are interested in Automobile go for Automobile Engineering....

etc....

As its mentioned by you that you are good in maths so according to me the branches among which you should choose should be :
Computer Science engg.
Electronics and communication engg.
Mechanical engg.
Chemical engg.
Aeronautical engg.
All have the above branches have maths subject uptil 4th sem and moreover the branches like chemical and mechanical have most of the subjects which are totally based on numerical problems so choose the one as per you interest.

If you have interest in programming languages like c/c++,java,dotnet etc then go for computer science.
If you are keen to learn about hardware, cellular mobile communication then go for electronics and communication engg.
If you have interest in the parts of devices like how they are designed or manufactured then go for mechanical engg.

So based on these points choose the best one for you as per your interest.

Nice to see your interest in the engineering field. In today age the engineering field is the one of the most growing field. The B.Tech course is duration of four years and it is available in the different branch like Civil, Electrical. Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics .....etc. You need to choose any one branch as per own interest.

To admission in the engineering course you need to appear in the engineering entrance examination like IIT JEE, WBJEE, ORJEE KIITEE, VITEEE....and many other entrance examination. After completing 12th class with PCM stream you can appear in the engineering entrance examination.

As per your question i advise you to choose any branch as per own interest not by any other interest. Wish you all the best for your ahead career.

You can find many branches in engineering course and you can opt any course in which you have interest.If you are interested in mathematics,then it is best to choose the Electronics and communication Engineering(ECE) or Electrical and Electronics Engineering(EEE) because these branches are mainly related to electronics and in these branches from second year onwards most of the subjects are related to mathematics.

You can also find good job opportunities after completing your graduation with more than 60% of marks and if you are interested to continue your higher studies then you can do the M.Tech course.
