The SRM University, formerly SRM Institute of Science and Technology, is a deemed university in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, under University of Madras.
As per my knowledge, you are not eligible to get admission in government college so my suggestion to you is that you can apply for private college after scoring 40,550 rank.
