my friends told me girls get railway jobs through scra exam. Is the scra scheme offers jobs for girls in railway?

first i would like to inform u that scra is an engineering entrance exam for doing b.tech in mechanical engineering and then u will be given job in railway . your post will be decided on the basis of your 4 year performance and obviously theres no restriction for girls

yes girls are completely eligible for SCRA exam ,SCRA exam is conducted by upsc for selection of candidate as a special class appreantices in mechanical department of indian railway exam will conducted 31 july 2011

forms cost
online cost rs50
offline cost rs100.

girls are also eligible for giving scra exam.the exam is conducted twice every year by upsc. the syllabus for the exam is same as what you have studied in 11th and 12th class. this exam is very difficult and requires a lot of hard work.

The SCRA exam is conducted by the UPSC .
This exam is conducted in the two phase first is the written phase and the next is the interview phase or the intelligence test .

Ya of course the female candidates can apply for the SCRA exam ...

SCRA exam is conducted by UPSC every year. For this....
Age Limt-17 to 19yrs
Educational Qualification- Class 12th or equivalent with physics, chemistry and maths.
Gender- male and female both
Procedure- written Exam conducted by UPSC followed by Personality Test.

After clearing SCRA exam as well as the personality test, you will be doing mechanical engineering on govt. expense.

Yes, girls can get railway jobs through SCRA Exam. Any one is eligible if he can get through the requirements i.e., your age should be in between 17 to 21. There is age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC category people. You should get atleast second division in 12 board exam with maths and any one of physics or chemistry.
