Can I apply for CTET while being in 3rd year of BA?

Sir, I have done Nursery & Primary Teacher Training (NPTT) from International Women Polytechnic College and I got 49% and I am pursuing B.A 3rd year. So, can I apply for CTET entrance examination now? Or, do I need to complete the BA first?

You need a B.ed course along with your Graduation to appear in CTET.

CTET is conducted by CBSE to recruit teachers for class I to V and class VI to VIII. If you have completed (10+2) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing final year of diploma in elementary education or special education, then you can apply for CTET only for class I to V. You are not eligible for CTET class VI to VIII. After graduation in B.A with 2 year diploma in elementary education or special education course, you can also apply for CTET class VI to VIII.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
