Respected Sir/Madam, my aim is to become a Forest Range Officer. I am doing B.Sc Physics. Here I have a doubt whether this degree is eligible to apply for the Forest Range Officer entrance exam or not?

Yes.You are eligible to apply for the Forest Range Officer.

As the eligibility criteria is as follows:
Candidates between 18 years and 30 years of age are eligible to apply.
Candidates who have completed Bachelor of Science with any of the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Zoology, Geography are eligible.

The selection of candidates in to the post of Forest Officer is carried out through written examination like IFS. In order to attend the exam one must posses certain physical qualifications also.
The selection is done through entrance exam .In order to fill up the vacancies that arise in a specific state, one should attend the competitive exam carried out by state PSC
