Para Commando is a special wing of Indian Army.

So, if you wish to join as a Para Commando, firstly you will have to be recruited in Indian Army.

As you have completed your graduation, so you are eligible for joining Indian Army.

You have to apply for CDS exam that stands for Combined Defence Services Exam.

Upcoming CDS Exam will be conducted on 23 October, 2016.

However, last date to apply for CDS Exam was 12 August 2016.

ELIGIBILITY for CDS Exam

• You should have attained the age of 19 years and must have not attained the age of 23 years.
• You must have Bachelor's degree from any recognized Institution.
• Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.

Para Commando are selected from Indian Army.

Once, you are selected in Indian Army, then you can apply for Para Commando.

You can't become Para Commando directly. There is a procedure for the Para Commandos. The Para Commando is a special force of Indian Army and these Para Commandos are selected from the Indian Army cadets.
So, to become a Para Commando you have to be first join Indian Army.
To Join Indian Army there are several modes through this you can enter in the Indian Army. The modes are:
NDA (National Defense Academy)
CDS (Combined Defense Services)
TGC (Technical Graduation Course)
SSC (Short Service Commision)
UES (University Entry Scheme)
and etc.
Once you enter in the Indian Army than on the performance basis the candidate are selected for the special forces like:
Para Commando
Cobra Commando
Marcos (Indian Navy)
Garud Commando Force (Indian Air Force)

I am a B.Com student and want to be a Para Commando. I am 19 years old now height 165 and I I want to know how to apply for para commando and am I eligible for it and if I am not eligible what should I do for achieving.
