Re: Can I do engineering without attempting EAMCET?
Almost all engineering institution allow admission on the basis of candidates' performance
in some engineering entrance exams. The EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad for admission in the government and private colleges of engineering/medical/ other professional courses. If you want to get admission in any govt./private college of Andhra Pradesh, that come under state government, then EAMCET is the only possible way. If you want to do engineering from a decent college then you will have to qualify some entrance exam for sure. There could be some private colleges that allow admission through donation naming it management quota but there is no such provision in any good private college and govt. colleges. So, you should prepare for the entrance exams positively. http://www.apeamcet.org/ |

Re: Can I do engineering without attempting EAMCET?
Hello Sir,
You can most certainly join engineering at any college you like via the management quota which are very expensive. The cost also depends of the college and branch you choose. You might have to fullfill certain requirements in some colleges like passing 10th ans 12th with more 65 percent. Some colleges might have such restrictions. Hope this has been of some help. If you need some help with EAMCET counselling, head to http://www.webcampuz.com/eamcetcounselli… . There you can use the counselling data to figure out which college is best suited for you. Thanking you.............. |

Re: Can I do engineering without attempting EAMCET?
All the seats in Government colleges and 70 % of the seats in private colleges in AP will make admission based only on EAMCET .
If you didn't attempt EAMCET , you wont be elligible for the above mentioned seats , but you can try for the remaining 30 % seats in Management quota And also you can apply for the colleges in other states without attempting EAMCET . |

Hi,
To Join engineering, you must have passed 12th with 50% marks If you are going for management seat, no need to write the entrance exam. If you need Government seat in colleges, you have to attend common entrance exam and get qualified. |
