Re: Can I do MBBS after doing B.Tech in Biotechnology?
NEET is conducted to get admission in MBBS course.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th with PCB as main paper. So, if you have not studied Biology in std 12th than, you are not eligible to appear in the NEET and to get admission in MBBS course. |

Yes, it is possible. You have to appear for NEET entrance exam and qualify that exam to grab your seat in MBBS.
Thank you. |

Re: Can I do MBBS after doing B.Tech in Biotechnology?
----To study MBBS, the candidate should have done 10 + 2 with physics, chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.
As you haven't studied Biology in your intermediate hence, you are not eligible to pursue MBBS course. |

AIIMS AFMC NEET JIPMER UPCAT for all the entrance examination, the candidate should have passed their 12th from a recognised board or equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and Biology. You can do MBBS after btech biotechnology but it is a long term process. |

Re: Can I do MBBS after doing B.Tech in Biotechnology?
The full form of MBBS course is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
The admission in MBBS course is done through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. NEET is conducted by National Testing Agency for admission in MBBS and BDS courses. 1. You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology in standard 12th and secured minimum of 50% marks in it. You can not pursue MBBS course and apply for NEET exam without studying Biology. |

Re: Can I do MBBS after doing B.Tech in Biotechnology?
MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and the duration of the same degree course is 5.5 years (including an year of intership period).
NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and it is held once every for offering admission in MBBS degree course in medical college across India except for the case of AIIMS which conducts its own admission test known as AIIMS MBBS entrance examination. Further, the minimum education required to pursue MBBS degree course is a Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as main subjects with at least 50% marks (or 40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in aggregate from a recognised board of education. So, having not opted for Biology as a main subject in your Class 12th, you are not eligible to pursue MBBS even after completing B.Tech. in Biotechnology degree course. |
