Regional Institute of Education ,Mysore is a constituent unit of the NCERT , under the Ministry of Human Resource Development , Govt . of India .

The Institute is offering Teacher Education Programmes in Science , Mathematics , English , Humanities and Education.

The B.Sc from the Regional Institute of Education , Mysore is a 4 years course .

The eligibility for the admission of this course is :

1. A candidate should have passed CBSE senior secondary examination / Pre - University examination of Karnataka , or an equivalent examination of Kerala , Andhra pradesh , Tamil naadu ,Pondicherry or the UT of Lakshadweep.

2.A candidate should have passed with minimum 45% in relevent subjects .

3. a candidate should have PCM Stream . ( Physics , chemistry , Maths )

4.A candidate should have PCB stream ,(Physics , Chemistry , biology )

5. A candidate should have CBZ stream , (Chemistry, Botany ,Zoology )
