hi!!

Diploma course is generally done after class X ,after which students either go towards a small job in their respective fields.Diploma course can be done after 10'th or after 12'th or may be later also

" But it is not equivalent to degree "

even after your diploma course after XII class you would not be called as a GRADUATE and hence it is wrong to say that you have

completed your graduation and hence cannot apply for POST GRADUATION course

now ,you need first to complete your graduation or you can say that you are required to first start your graduation then only you are eligible for getting admission in post graduation program

for GRADUATION you will be required to give the exam for "late entry in engineering technology" or LEET .for which exam is being conducted every year for students to get admission in the respective engineering colleges of a particular state on the basis of rank in LEET exam

now,

Advantages after diploma course

• you are more experienced than others

• you will be given admission in directly second year of GRADUATION

Disadvantage of diploma course after XII

• Your two years were wasted.

• you cannot apply for colleges like IIT'S or NIT'S

if you want to get admission in IIT'S or NIT'S or the top B-Schools like IIM'S or others you need first to complete your graduation then only you will be eligible to take admission in post graduation Program

No you can't go for master degree without completing bachelor degree.

Diploma is equal to 10+2 i.e., 12th. You will get 1year deduction from diploma after 12th. But Diploma is not consider as degree so you can't do master degree.

Better you join for Engineering or else join Bachelor degree.

i'm a diploma holder in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, But i'm intrested in IT field After completed diploma i completed it certifications like CCNA,MCSE,RHEL, Veritas Backup & Storage.

its waste of talk here.. I really don't understand why diploma is not consider as degree. Even though ppl are completed their diploma after 12th class. I suppose it shall be consider as degree..
