Respected Sir, I have completed my 12th from Commerce stream and now I am doing my graduation with BBA. After graduation can I join Indian Air Force (IAF) in any department?

Candidates passed 12th in Commerce stream are not eligible to appear for AFCAT or CDS for recruitment in Indian Air Force.

For Air Force recruitment ( under AFCAT or CDS ) it is mandatory to have passed 12th in Mathematics and Physics as main paper.

Entrance examination is conducted in various stages for final recruitment.

You can definitely apply for jobs in IAF.
Before that you must face a entrance exam -' AFCAT' exam
If you qualify that exam, then you will get job in ground staff branch.
If you studied Maths &Physics in 10+2 ,then you can enter technical branch also.

Having completed your Class 12th in Commerce stream, you can join Indian Air force only as an Airmen Y group and the qualifications required for the same entry are as below :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate.

* Your age must lie within 17 years to 21 years.

* You must have completed your Class 12th in any discipline with at least 50% marks overall from a recognised board.

* You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms.

You are eligible to join Indian Air Force only as Group 'Y' ( non-technical ) not eligible for CDS and AFCAT examination. For both CDS and AFCAT mandatory to have Physics and Mathematics in std 12th.

The age limit is must be less than 21 years. Examination is conducted in various stages for final selection.

So, if you satisfy the age limit criteria than you can apply for joining the Air Force.
