Can I write the BA final exams under Punjabi University to increase my percentage?

I have completed my BA English Literature additional exam from Punjabi University, Patiala in April, 2014 but I scored less than 50% marks. Now I want to enhance my percentage. So, what should I do? Can I write the final exam once again?
