Can a Pharma.D candidate is eligible to open own clinic?

I have completed my Pharma.D and now want to open my own clinic. Am I allowed to do so? If yes, then how? What are the legal requirements? Which all License do I need to take?

No

You are not eligible for medical practice. Even after M.Pharm you can’t run a clinic. You (Pharmacist ) can only discover , make and sell drugs. Pharmacist is not allowed to diagnose diseases and prescribe medicines. Not even a Phd Holder in pharmacy.

Hope you understand this....

To open a Clinic, one should have completed Medicine and should be a Doctor. If you open a Clinic without doing Medicine, that is illegal.

But you can open a Medical shop within the Clinic through your D-Pharmacy certificate.

It is mandatory to have D-Pharmacy certificate to run a Medical shop.

Hence you can either a Medical store or have to study Medicine to become a Doctor.

I suggest you to go for B-Pharmacy through lateral entry scheme as you have already completed your D-Pharmacy course.
